Victoria's Secret Just Unveiled a Brand-New PINK Beauty Line

Fun fact: my first foray into the world of beauty involved roaming around the Victoria's Secret store in my hometown mall. I was there for two reasons. The first was that I was a teenager. I had officially started dabbling with makeup, and I wanted to look like I knew what I was doing. In my mind, my mom's hand-me-down lipsticks and blush wouldn't cut it anymore. I needed my own products and my own routine. (Side note: I had also just watched Almost Famous for the first time and I was inspired by Penny Lane's classic '70s style to purchase my first eyeliner—and a glittery black one at that).

The second reason was the most important. My interest in hair, skin, and makeup was growing exponentially, and I was entranced by all of the products and colors. Back then, I was used to perusing drugstore aisles where products were safely enclosed in a hard and shiny plastic shell. At Victoria's Secret, though, I had free rein to touch, swatch, and smell anything that struck my fancy. Basically what I'm saying is that Victoria's Secret beauty is incredibly nostalgic for me.

That was years ago. Since then, I've made a departure from Victoria's Secret, opting to shop at Sephora, Ulta, Target, and online K-beauty destinations instead. Now, though, it looks like I have a reason to make a return because the brand just unveiled a brand-new millennial-minded beauty line. With bright and cohesive packaging, as well as updated formulas with buzzy ingredients, it looks like it was made for Instagram.
