Vernon François‎’ Haircare Line Is Now Available in Sally Beauty Stores

What do Lupita Nyong’o, Serena Williams, and Kerry Washington all have in common? Aside from each one falling into the barrier-breaking queen category, they all call on legendary hairstylist Vernon François to take care of their curls and coils‎. From Lupita’s sculptural updo at this year’s Met Gala to Serena’s natural texture on the cover of the Harper’s Bazaar August issue, it’s clear why women of color in Hollywood flock to him for the haircare needs. With over 20 years of experience, François is undoubtedly an expert at caring for and styling natural hair. 

François' commitment to helping women embrace their natural texture led him to create his namesake haircare line in 2016. "I deeply care about people having access to a premium product that works, so I must keep doing my best to be a champion for kinks, coils, and curls," François says.

His collection is broken up into three ranges: Pure Fro for coils and kinky hair, Curl for curly hair and looser waves, and Re-Vamp for heat-damaged, chemically-treated strands. François’ hair brand boasts an array of products including shampoos, conditioners, and moisture sprays designed to help women achieve their healthiest hair. 

The line, which has only been available via luxury online retailers like net-a-porter, will now be available in approximately 3,000 Sally Beauty locations as of today.
