Urban Decay knows a thing or two about buzzy, standout products. From its well-loved Naked Palette ($54) to its creamy and long-wearing Vice Lipsticks ($17), we can thank the brand for producing a number of cult makeup classics—and the feverish rush to obtain them whenever they're released. And even though it's only been a matter of weeks since its last product announcement (the Naked Heat palette—read all about it here), UD teased yet another addition to its collection over the Fourth of July weekend.
Meet the Troublemaker Mascara, UD's latest addition to its stellar lineup of lash-enhancing formulas. From what we can see, there are many reasons to get excited—and if the deafening buzz around the interwebs is any indication, the anticipation is already running sky-high.

Founding partner of Urban Decay Wende Zomnir got the hype going this weekend when she posted a selfie with a new, holographic mascara tube. From her ultra-defined lashes to the beachy backdrop, there are a few clues to unpack here.
For starters, it's not a stretch to assume that the Troublemaker is waterproof—Zomnir swiped it on before a sweltering day at the beach, after all. Beyond that, the photo doesn't lie: Her lashes look thick, long, and clump-free, which is honestly all we can ever ask of our favorite mascara formulas.
According to Zomnir, we'll have to wait until fall to get our hands on a tube. Until then, we'll be refreshing our Instagram feeds for additional clues—and stocking up on our current favorite UD formula in the meantime.
This mascara is volumizing and lengthening, and it's never dry or brittle. It has marine collagen and honey extract to nourish lashes, and it includes a special complex of amino acids and proteins, which stimulate growth. Basically, your lashes will look bigger and better both immediately after application and over time.
