Tori Kelly's head-turning mane is almost as worship-worthy as her soulful voice. The pop star, who usually rocks a head of springy, shiny curls, showed up at this year's Grammy Awards with a sleeker version of her natural curls. The key to her polished look? That would be John Frieda's Go Curlier Heat Activated Spray ($6), which hairstylist Nikki Providence spritzed 12 times through her clean, wet strands. "I used a wide-tooth comb to shape the front and sides into sculpted waves, clipping each section into position," she tells Byrdie exclusively. "The remainder of the hair was twisted in two-inch sections, and all the hair was dried 100% with a diffuser before taking the clips out." Providence says the secret to keeping her curls frizz-free is to touch them as little as possible once they dry. To add a big dose of shine, she finished by lightly gliding the brand's Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon Touch-Up Creme ($6) through Kelly's strands, warming up the product in her palms first. The final effect? Old Hollywood glamour with a modern twist. We love!
