Sephora is one of our go-to spots for all our product needs, so it can be downright jarring when we find that the mega store can't keep a product in stock. But, on the other hand, arguably the only thing that speaks louder than five-star reviews is the fact that the store has to hurry to keep up with demand.
The latest product to take Sephora by storm? Tatcha's Water Cream ($68). It's essentially a ridiculously potent moisturizer that you might liken to the most refreshing drink of H2O for your face. You can immediately feel it working too: There's a sensorial water-burst effect when you apply it to your skin, and it's never sticky or greasy. Pure botanicals like Japanese wild rose and leopard lily tighten pores, smooth skin, and purify, while a proprietary blend called Hadasei-3 nourishes and restores radiance. The result is supremely hydrated skin with a balanced, natural glow. (Yes, we've tried it, and yes, it really is worth all the hype.)
Considering these promises, it's no wonder Sephora is struggling to keep the product on the shelves. (The good news: It appears to be in stock on Tatcha's website, as well as on QVC.) With a nearly five-star rating, over 10,000 likes, and countless rave reviews online, it's clear that Tatcha has hit a home run with its new launch. We'd recommend taking the plunge (so to speak) as soon as you come across it—after all, who knows how long it'll be around?
