Stella Maxwell’s childhood may have taken her all over the world—she was born in Belgium, and then moved to Australia before settling (and being discovered) in New Zealand—but she has a special love for Paris. “My favorite memories are just walking around Paris,” she tells us backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. “I always think it’s so beautiful just to walk around and get a crêpe with Nutella and banana and do very typical Parisian tourist things.” To which we say: same. Now as the face of Victoria Secret’s effervescent new fragrance, Paris ($65) and the new face of Max Factor makeup, we have a feeling her love for the City of Light will only grow more.

We caught up with the sultry, sunny-haired model moments before she strutted down the runway and talked lipstick, French pharmacy finds, and more. Keep scrolling to find out Stella Maxwell’s beauty secrets!

On French pharmacy finds:

“I love Bioderma ($17). That pure water is amazing for the skin.”

On her favorite multitasking product:

“Probably the Max Factor Cream Blush ($20). You can use it as a lip balm, a lip tint, or even on your eyelids. They have amazing colors, so one of those for sure. I usually go for a pinky, rosy red. Or really deep, like an aubergine red.”

On the best makeup tip she learned from a makeup artist:

“Add a little highlighter in the inner corner of your eyes just to open up your eyes, and even on the top of your lip is really cute because it just catches the light.”

On advice to her younger self:

“Wash your face more, maybe. [laughs]”

On her favorite workout:

“Yoga, yoga, yoga!”

On the last beauty question she texted a friend:

“What’s a good face mask?”

On her nighttime routine:

“I use Bioderma to wash my makeup off my face, and then I just prep the skin with some nice moisturizer.”

On her favorite drugstore product:

“Max Factor Mascara… the False Lash Epic.”

On her favorite healthy meals:

“Breakfast would be scrambled eggs with avocado. Lunch would be a Caesar salad and dinner… maybe sushi?”
