Everyone has them, the staple beauty products that if they were discontinued, you'd be devastated. They're not necessarily the hot new product or the most exciting, but they are dependable. Well, Team Byrdie has a few of these in their personal beauty stockpiles, and while it's always exciting to talk about what's new and now, we thought we'd shine a light on these products and give back a little of the love they've given us over the years.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Taupe
Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Taupe $23

Ah, my ride-or-die eye shadow. You simply scribble it on, blend with your finger or brush, and you're good to go. It lasts all day and is the perfect matte shade for adding a little emphasis without looking too done. Luckily, the matte texture comes in plenty of earthy hues so there should be a shade that suits everyone's preference.

Fenty Beauty Invisimatte Blotting Paper
Fenty Beauty Invisimatte Blotting Paper $13

For summer weddings, this is a total savior. It removes shine without the need for powder so your makeup stays looking fresh and pleasantly dewy rather than caked in powder.

Tweezerman Slant Tweezer
Tweezerman Slant Tweezer $22

I always opt for the slanted tweezers, as I find they're easier to use than their pointed cousins. I always come back to Tweezerman—they're brilliant quality and really help me to precisely groom my brows between threading appointments.

Bliss Skin Softening Socks
Bliss Skin Softening Socks $39

These are a recent discovery (what with sandal season having been looming), although they're not new. The socks are thick and cozy and have a layer that feels a little like rubber within that's packed with jojoba oil, olive oil, ceramides, and vitamin E, which are released as your feet naturally warm up in the socks. After 20 minutes, your feet look and feel as soft as a newborn's. Oh, and they can be reused 50 times, so it works out to great value for the money.

Dove Pro-Age Body Wash
Dove Pro-Age Body Wash $3

I discovered this in my mum's shower (shhh). It is packed with oils and leaves skin clean and seriously soft, so unless you have super-dry skin, you don't need to moisturize after. I always have a bottle of this in my bathroom for when I run out of Glossier Body Hero Daily Oil Wash (£15).

Nars Kohl Liner in Sorrento
Nars Kohl Liner in Sorrento $20

Because I'm not really into wearing harsh black eyeliner, I consider this pencil my happy medium. It's a super-flattering shade of rusty brown, and because it's so melty and malleable, it blends so well and never looks too severe.

MontaMonta Hand Wash
MontaMonta Hand Wash $22

I love a fancy hand wash in the bathroom and am really digging the peppery, herbaceous scent of MontaMonta's. It's a new brand straight out of Hackney, creating the most divine hand products as well as coffee scrubs and skin balms.

BareMinerals Luxe Performance Brush
BareMinerals Luxe Performance Brush $30

No foundation brush better fits in all the nooks and crannies of the face, and because the bristles are so densely packed, they really buff product into the skin so you're never left with unsightly streaks.

Soaper Duper Zingy Ginger Body Wash
Soaper Duper Zingy Ginger Body Wash Zingy Ginger Body Wash $7

Shower gels aren't exactly the most exciting thing to talk about, but this one smells so divine, I'll happily tell anyone I pass. Plus, it's completely free of parabens, sulfates and mineral oils, so you needn't worry about what you're draining down the shower plug.

Gillette Venus Snap Razor
Gillette Venus Snap Razor $10

Razors are particularly boring, and I tend to hide mine away in my bathroom cabinet, lest a guest spots it on the side of my bathtub. But I don't mind so much with this razor—mainly because it's so tidy and cute. And it's so handy for traveling.

Dolly Wink Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in Deep Black
Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in Deep Black $10

Anyone who knows me knows I love liquid eyeliner. My brother's girlfriend brought this back for me from Japan, and it's the only one I use. It lasts all day without smudging but still comes off so easily. The dream.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser $9

Our editorial director recommended I use this after my skin decided to freak out, and I've never looked back. Not the prettiest bottle but it sure does the job

Sleek Idivine Eye Palette in A New Day
Sleek Idivine Eye Palette in A New Day $9

I've had this palette for years, and it's still going strong. It's the perfect mix of neutrals to rustic browns, and it has the nicest shimmery shadows with great pigment payoff.

Lucas Papaw Ointment
Lucas' Papaw Ointment $9

I get dry patches on my legs and arms after suffering from eczema for years as a child, and this has always been my main savior to calm irritation quickly.

The Body Shop Olive Nourishing Body Butter
The Body Shop Olive Nourishing Body Butter $15

Chances are you've used this in a past life, so it's not really a secret, but hear me out. I used this all throughout high school and still use it to this day. It's the one moisturizer that keeps me smooth all day without leaving a trace of grease.
