Between the sparkling roots that dominated this year's music festival circuit and the glimmering lip art mania set in motion by Pat McGrath's Lust 004, it's safe to say that 2016 has been the year of glitter. (An homage to the passing of our beloved Starman, perhaps?) And it's not over, by any means: Holiday party season is rapidly approaching, providing ample more opportunity to embrace the trend before it fades.
But a glittery look is only as good as the makeup you use to achieve it, which is why we have to tip our hats to Instagram (where else) for putting a new-to-us product on our radar. In the pursuit of a less messy way to approach the trend, L.A.-based indie brand Lemonhead decided to formulate a sparkle gel with more of a pomade-like texture. Thus, the aptly named SpaceJam ($22) was born.
