British makeup artist and Eat Beautiful ($21) author Wendy Rowe is the ultimate beauty expert. On top of having clients like Sienna Miller and Suki Waterhouse, the multihyphenate pro also has an incredible blog and happens to be a skincare aficionado too.
In a recent interview with W, Rowe explains that she decided to write a book with the help of a nutritionist in an effort to address skincare in a simple manner. "Basically, a big part of achieving beautiful skin has to do with food," she says. While food plays a significant role, there's also a small arsenal of skincare products that support a year-round glow. She continues, "Seasonal foods provide your body with what it needs at the time. In winter, that entails brightly-colored root vegetables like carrots, beets, rhubarb.
They have all the nutrients you need to repair your skin." Rowe's winter skin-saving, glow-enhancing trick is oil.
