The skincare products you can’t live without:
Eucerin Daily Protective Facial Lotion SPF30 ($8), Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque ($48), Vaseline Petroleum Jelly Original Unscented ($4) because everything else just leaves my body dry, organic tea tree essential oil, and I also use other natural household products such as oats, honey, and turmeric.
The hair products you can’t live without:
I’m not really fixated on particular brands in this category. Other than Hair Food, I love avocado oil and organic shampoo and conditioner.
The makeup products you can’t live without:
I haven’t really tried many other highlighters, but I love Rimmel London Highlighter ($7), L.A. Girl Pro Concealer ($4), Black Opl True Color Foundation ($11) because it works well with my skin tone, and pencil and liquid eyeliner.

I know everyone wants to get their hands on Fenty Beauty right now, and so do I.

In Johannesburg I’m seeing a lot of bright eye shadow colors, defined eyebrows, and just a general look of glowing skin.

What does “healthy living” mean to you?
It means taking care of your body by putting the right foods in your system and exercising as often as you can. Prioritizing self-care in general. And also creating the right balance between social life and work.
How do you define/practice “self-care”?
By trying to do the things that actually make me happy. And having self-discipline even though it can be hard at times. Simple things like washing off your makeup even though you are lazy to do so or finishing off a project instead of going out because essentially it will benefit you more in the long run.
What’s your favorite way to stay active and why?
I walk a lot and I’ve also recently joined the gym as a way to kind of help balance my stress levels. I’m still discovering more ways to stay active. I’ve never really had a problem with my body, but I’ve also realized that’s not the only reason to stay active.
What’s your favorite healthy meal?
It’s hard to pick a favorite because I genuinely just enjoy most vegetables and fruits.
