This week's Sephora Weekly Wow Sale falls on the first day of the month. What better way to kick off March than with a sale shopping spree? The answer is that there is no better way. Especially when the aforementioned beauty sale consists of five different skincare and makeup products (though, between you and me, there are many more discounts awaiting our perusing eyes on the brand's main sale page—including one of our favorite lip products, the Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil, which is priced at only $10.
But I digress). Among the discounted offerings that are specific to this week, you will find a hydrating skincare set from Clinique, a buzzy skin-equalizing and tone-correcting makeup primer, a high-coverage lipstick, and a volumizing mascara. There's also an award-winning clay face mask that extracts pores and all but erases blackheads. Please excuse us while we add everything—especially the blackhead-busting clay mask—to our virtual carts. Because, hey, if there's any way we can get the pore-extracting benefits of a facial without spending the time and money that's necessary to book one, then count us in.
Here is the glorious mask we mentioned before. It's from the fan-favorite cosmetics brand Philosophy, and it's made with kaolin and bentonite clay as well as salicylic acid and natural exfoliants, which all work to draw out gunk from pores and exfoliate the outer surface layer of the skin. Simply squeeze some of the creamy white mixture out onto your hands and massage onto your face, focusing on oily areas. Leave it on for five to 10 minutes or until the clay is completely dry. Rinse it off to find better skin underneath.
If your skin is asking for hydration rather than exfoliation (it is only March 1, after all), then reach for this limited-edition Clinique skincare set. It includes three travel-size products in total—the brand's gel moisturizer, an aloe-infused facial spray, and the Chubby Stick Lip Crayon, which is infused with mango and shea butter. It's a petite and packable set that we think will be perfect for stashing away in our carry-on bags.
Now that we've gone over sale skincare items, let's move on to makeup. This luxurious makeup primer from Make Up For Ever balances the skin's tone and texture. This one is the brand's mattifying formula, though you can choose also from a hydrating, smoothing, nourishing, or color-correcting version. There are 10 options in total, so you'll be sure to find one for your skin's needs.
Buxom's Lip Crayon is a three-in-one product. Its slim and pointed design works like a lip liner and a lipstick in one. It also hydrates lips with a combination of vitamins A, C, and E. On top of that, it works to plump lips. Our favorite shade is called Acapulco, and it's a soft pink.
The last discounted product that's up for grabs this week is this colorful mascara from Sephora's in-house brand. The volumizing formula adds density to lashes along with a coat of bold pigments. We like this fun turquoise color, but there's also a cobalt blue and a deep royal purple.
