Sarah Jessica Parker may be known for Carrie Bradshaw's iconic style on Sex and the City, but the actress and perfumer has worn her own signature makeup look throughout the years. SJP's signature makeup look quickly became in a lived-in smoky eye, and in a recent interview with British Vogue, the actress reveals that she actually only uses one product to perfect her beauty look, and it doesn't involve mascara. What.

"I wear Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color in Jungle," Parker tells the magazine. "I wear it almost every single day of my life, even if I'm only doing dishes and wiping rear ends. And I don't care if it's there for days—it doesn't move, so when I wash my face at night, or if I wash my face in the shower, and it doesn't come off, I do not care." We absolutely are obsessed with the honesty.

SJP once relied on a classic black pencil to achieve her smoky eye, she says, but now swears by this game changer and has some application tips to share with the world at large.

"When Laura came out with the Caviar Stick, everything changed," she says. "You have to blend it quickly, while it still has some warmth and movement in it, then it's cooked. And you just keep adding and adding. Jungle is my favorite, but I also love Khaki, Plum, and Tuxedo. I always make sure I'm well stocked." We will be running to purchase these, too.

As for her philosophy on mascara, that's different: "I don't usually wear mascara," she says. "I'm wearing it today because I have to be presentable, but it's rare. If I do wear it, it's Lancôme Hypnôse Drama ($28)."

Bradshaw may have been a well known designer shoe and vintage clothing collector, but we're happy to hear she's just like us, and her must-have products are all about beauty.
