Remember the days when Instagram was the most intimate portal into A-listers' lives? When we saw #nomakeupselfies and thought This is about as real as it gets? And then Snapchat arrived and made it even easier for the cool people we follow to take us inside their daily routines. Case in point: A couple of years ago, if Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wanted to share just how her everyday makeup look comes together it would have made more sense to defer to an interview rather than social media. But nope, last night she took us through the whole thing, product by product, snap by snap. Her dog even made a cameo. #Blessed.
But of course, the beautiful thing about Snapchat is that it's so fleeting (which is part of the celeb appeal in the first place, we imagine). That's where we come in: We're not advocates of screenshotting Snap stories on a regular basis, but sometimes it's necessary. Like, say, when you want to look like RHW.
So let's get to it. Keep reading to see every makeup product that Huntington-Whiteley uses on a daily basis, as told by the beauty herself:
You can't fake that lit-from-within glow. RHW gets hers with the help of supplements and some liquid greens—first thing in the morning.
The model gets her canvas ready with Laura Mercier's Foundation Primer ($20).
A tip she no doubt learned in the makeup chair: Mix your foundation with primer, serums, or creams to give your complexion natural-looking coverage (not to mention an extra dose of hydration). RHW blends Laura Mercier's Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer with SPF ($44) with Chanel's Perfection Lumière Velvet ($47). (Both formulas have built-in sun protection. She's speaking our language!)
Don't forget the Beautyblender ($20)!
An important part of the whole shebang, obviously.
To sculpt her bone structure even more, she uses Chanel's Lumière d'Eté, which sadly is not currently available.
Next up: Blush for a little—er—rosiness. (Her go-to formula is Charlotte Tilbury's Colour of Youth, $58.)
Charlotte Tilbury's Wonderglow ($55) amps up the wattage of her glow.
Those arches won't fill in themselves. Huntington-Whiteley uses Hourglass's Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil ($32).
Those long lashes come courtesy of YSL's Babydoll Mascara ($32).
She uses Tom Ford's Lip Color Shine ($52) in Nubile to add a mauve flush to her pout.
Who can say no to floral-scented finishing powder? That's Guerlain's Méteorites Pearls ($62) in Clair.
And the final result…
Not too shabby. (← Understatement of the century.)
What do you think of RHW's daily routine? Not too crazy, right? Sound off in the comments below!
