Considering the immense success of Fenty Beauty, Rihanna is owning the makeup game in a major way. We've grown to know and love this multifaceted songstress's unapologetic spirit over the years that has translated into her approach to makeup: badass. 

She's never been afraid to step on the red carpet in a daring lip color and a mean winged eyeliner—and she kills it every time. Narrowing down the best Rihanna makeup moments was not easy, but we did it. Take a look at her most iconic looks. 

You're probably immediately drawn to her lashes. Same—they're the epitome of Hollywood glamour. This smoky charcoal shadow looks stunning with her soft nude lip. 

Name a more iconic berry lip—I'll wait. This deep, sultry plum shade looks absolutely killer on RiRi. Not to mention its the exact color of her dress. We'd ask for a lip ID if we could, but we're assuming this is an amazing blend of a few different deep purple shades. 

Ever thought about giving green lipstick a try? Bet you will now. This metallic emerald lip is reminiscent of Rihanna at the core: gorgeous, bold, and fierce. Yes, this is about her makeup, but I can't talk about this look without acknowledging those bantu knots—so good.

This might be a fangirl thing to say, but I want to frame, like, all of these. The makeup inspo Rihanna serves up on the regular is unreal. You've probably never seen an orange lip look chicer.

It's fair to say that Rihanna loves making her lipstick the focal point of her glam. And this is another glaring example of how gorgeous every shade in the book looks on her. Ruby red is clearly no exception. Instead of matte, she went with a glossy texture this time (look at how this glistens on camera!). 

Everything about this glam just works. The way this toned-down red picks up the color of her gown and earrings is perfect. With a good lip moment like this, take Rihanna's approach and pair it with a soft neutral eye. 

This is proof that Rihanna can flawlessly rock any color. She showed love to lilac with this gorgeous eye shadow look. And nude has also proven to be one of her favorite lip colors. 

This is pink at its peak. We wouldn't expect anything less from Rihanna for the annual Met Ball. Of course, she showed up and showed out with this monochromatic makeup moment that we'll never get over. All the props to her makeup artist for seamlessly sweeping this dusty pink hue from eyes to her cheekbones—with just enough of a silver pop on the inner corners of her eye to bring this look together. 

This look is a nod to that mean winged eyeliner I was talking about earlier. We're digging her strong brows, too. I could be wrong, but, doesn't that highlighter give you Fenty Beauty feels (this was way before its launch)? 

I legitimately stared at this photo for a minute straight, trying to figure out how to even properly articulate this look. Her caramel-colored eye shadow mixed with soft gold tones looks so incredibly classic. She bumped up her natural makeup with curled lashes. 

In true Bad Gal RiRi style, she donned black lipstick like no other. Nothing else truly matters other than this sick black lipstick that somehow looks so chic.

Don't ever let anyone tell you to steer clear of color. If Rihanna can wear blue lipstick, you can too. Take her approach and get even more points by giving it a gradient ombré vibe.
