Punked-Up Beauty Looks

On Monday, a slew of fashion lovers descended upon New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art in honor of the Costume Institute's latest exhibition, "Punk: From Chaos to Couture." Though not everyone donned vintage Vivienne Westwood, a handful of women let their inner rebel shine through their hair and makeup. In the following slideshow, we salute those who honored the theme and tell you how to score the best parts of each look.

Sienna Miller

The British actress and her beau, Tom Sturridge, both wore Burberry, but it was Miller’s custom-made Eddie Borgo spiked headband that pushed her from princess to punk. Oscar Blandi crafted Miller’s grungy, side-swept waves by adding tons of texture: “The hair should feel very thick and dirty,” Blandi says. He used Oscar Blandi Dry Sculpting Pomade ($23), Hair Lift Mousse ($25), and Lift Serum ($30) on clean, dry hair before bending it with a curling iron and pulling to one side with a clip.
