We fell in love with Priyanka Chopra during our shoot back in 2016, and since then, our love hasn't stopped. Not only is the Quantico star one of the most stunning humans to grace the earth (trust us—we've seen her in person without an ounce of makeup and she's just as, if not more, striking), but she's also incredibly funny, charming, and doesn't consider herself above stopping a car on a whim to devour an NYC street hotdog (during our interview, she ate two). Thus, we were thrilled with makeup artist Pati Dubroff gave us an exclusive look at what it's like to get Chopra ready for the most buzzed-about event of the year: the 2018 Met Gala.
This year's theme was Heavenly Bodies, an homage to fashion's engagement with Catholicism, and Chopra's look certainly fit the bill. Bedecked in a jewel-toned Ralph Lauren custom dress, the actress practically radiated light with glimmery gold eyes, ruby lips (courtesy of Chanel Beauty), and skin that glowed like it was lit from every angle by soft candlelight. Proof that angelic beings do walk the earth.

"I was inspired by Sophia Loren, the feeling of Italy and the look of a gilded Indian goddess. I started with the brown shades from Chanel Les 4 Ombres in Candeur et Expérience ($61) and added Chanel Ombre Premierè in Mirage ($36) to give it a splash of gold."
"I created a deep, rich Bordeaux lip, using Chanel Rouge Allure Ink in Dark Purple ($37) as a base and then Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in La Fascinante ($37) on top for some dimension and to echo the fabric of her dress. I sent Priyanka out with these two lipsticks in her evening bag. The bag is the same fabric as the dress!"
"Priyanka's face is a dream to paint. Those eyes have so much space to lay on the gold."
"My last-minute touch-up products."
"If you wish to create volume, I recommend using two shades of lip color. You can play with a deep purple and a brighter red on top to add more depth."
"The final look."
"Priyanka is a real-life goddess. I'm so inspired by her beauty!"
