Award season has officially reached its peak with tonight's 89th annual Academy Awards, an evening that brought us the best in beauty, from a beautiful yet unexpected hair trend to an exciting new launch from beloved brand Glossier. Now, we can add affordable drugstore products to the red carpet's list of trends.
The glam squads of celebs from La La Land's Emma Stone to Lion's Nicole Kidman used a slew of drugstore products to glam up their A-list clients. That's right—the Oscars are easily the most elegant evening of award season, and while many celebs go all-out for their fashion and beauty, there are tried-and-true favorites that come straight from the shelves at the drugstore. We all love a bargain beauty find, including many of the Oscar-nominated leading ladies.

Nicole Kidman's soft updo was the quintessential red carpet hairstyle. Stylist Kylee Heath coiffed Kidman's look using Dove products, including Absolute Curls Supreme Crème Serum ($6) to prep and protect her locks before blowing her hair out and locked in the style with Style+Care Flexible Hold Hairspray ($4).
Inspired by Viola Davis's Armani Privé gown, celebrity manicurist Julie Kandalec opted for a muted taupe shade for the actress's manicure. Using Essie Mink Muffs ($9), Davis topped off the Oscar winner's beauty look with a flawless neutral mani.
"Rockabilly chic" is how hairstylist Jenny Cho described Johansson's edgy pixie 'do. The mane master used Suave Professionals products and a flatiron to give the actress's hair its sweeping volume, including Sea Mineral Infusion Texturizing Sea Salt Spray ($5) to finish it off with a bit of lived-in texture.
Janelle Monáe's makeup artist Jessica Smalls used a slew of Covergirl favorites to nail the actress's bronzed lids, bold lashes, and nude lip. For eyes, Smalls mixed a few shades for the TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette in Nudes ($10) and intensified the eye makeup look with So Lashy! BlastPro Mascara in Extreme Black ($9). The makeup was topped off with a soft, peachy-nude lip using Outlast All-Day Color & Gloss in Profound Peach ($11).
