OPI Is Bringing Back Its 9 Most Iconic Shades Ever—But Just for a Minute

OPI Fan Favorites Collection

As someone who hoards nail polish like it's going out of style (it will never), I get really frustrated when my favorite color is discontinued or is limited-edition or for whatever reason inexplicably disappears off of the earth's stratosphere. You get my drift. So when a pretty little white box appeared on my desk the other week with OPI emblazoned in chrome, my blood pressure went up a tick. Then, my eyes landed on one of the most beautiful phrases I've ever seen in print (I kid… sort of): "Fan Favorites Requested by You—9 Most Asked for Shades, Returning for a Limited Time." You can only imagine my glee.

After all, there's nothing more satisfying than pinpointing the one shade or finish perfectly suited to your skin tone or personality type, making it even sadder when the polish gods to rip it away once bottle number one goes sticky. Right? Which is precisely why OPI is making nail polish hoarders' days everywhere. According to the brand, it's taken all of our die-hard social media requests, questions, and inquiries regarding certain MIA shades and compiled them into one stellar collection entitled Fan Favorites—not to be confused with some of the brand's cult classics.

No, no. While gorgeous and addictive, this collection is a little bit off the beaten track, full of shades that aren't as well-known as Lincoln Park After Dark or I'm Not Really a Waitress but worthy of igniting weak-at-the-knees love affairs all the same.

For a limited time only, all nine shades, which span a vibey purple (hello, Mrs. O'Leary's BBQ) to Peru-inspired gemstones (Peru-B-Ruby) are available for $13 each on Amazon. Not to mention each of the colors is being re-released in OPI's beloved new finish, Infinite Shine, which is a luscious hybrid collection that's essentially one part regular polish, one part gel. You'll need to add a base coat and a top coat, but perks like long-wear and easy removal totally make up for the extra two steps.

However, be warned. The colors are already flying temporarily out of stock on Amazon, although you'll still be able to wish-list the shades you want for once they're re-stocked. So what are you waiting for? Scroll through each of the shades below and let the shopping commence!
