OPI's Fall Collection Is the Only Set of Colors You Need Next Season

Updated 04/26/19

OPI is one of those fail-safe nail polish brands that we can always count on to create unique and trendy shades. We love the fact that they’re as equally easy to find on beauty store shelves as in professional salons. (The cheeky names don’t hurt either—our favorites are Amazon… Amazoff $5, a teal green, and Aphrodite’s Pink Nightie $9, which is a classic light pink.)

Since we’re always down for a sleek manicure, we had to check out the brand’s new fall shades in the Iceland Collection. It features 12 new shades. Each one comes in the traditional, GelColor, and Infinite Shine formulas. “For the color palette, I was inspired by the beauty of nature,” says OPI co-founder and brand ambassador, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. “In Iceland especially, the terrain is so naturally stunning and calming. The collection incorporates shades inspired by the various landscapes, from moss-covered lava fields and black sand beaches to lagoons and expansive skies.” The shades are totally on trend, too. “This fall, black is the new black. Expect to see lots of varied hues of this classic shade, with sophisticated undertones of brown and gray, as well as blue hues, with denim remaining a major trend.” Weiss-Fischmann says these colors won’t go away anytime soon. “These hues will continue through winter and 2018 as well, with many varied iterations of these shades,” she says. Keep scrolling to see all 12 new shades.

OPI That’s What Friends Are Thor $11

The first shade is this earthy, chocolate color. We love that it has a hint of a red undertone, which gives it cool ’90s-throwback vibes.

OPI Icelanded a Bottle of OPI $11

This shade is described as “dove beige.” The taupe-colored base makes it a lovely warm-toned nude.

OPI Suzi & The Arctic Fox $11

The combination of blue and purple makes this gem-toned lacquer one of the most popular shades from the collection, according to Weiss-Fischmann.

OPI This Isn’t Greenland $11

This moss green reminds us of Icelandic lichen-covered rocks. In our humble opinion, it definitely takes the tops spot for most unique color in the collection.

OPI Reykjavik Has All the Hotspots $11

This soft mauve color has a shimmery finish, for anyone who likes a little extra shine in their manicure (why not, right?).

OPI Less Is Norse $11

First things first: The name of this polish is amazing. Second, the cool-toned navy blue will complement literally any skin tone.

OPI Krona - Logical Order $11

The brand calls this one a “rich espresso.” Unlike That’s What Friends Are Thor, this one has a cooler, purple undertone.

OPI Aurora Berry-Alis $11

Here we have a classic berry shade, perfect for brightening up cold and blustery fall days.

OPI One Heckla of a Color! $11

Another cool tone, this shade lives on the edge of soft lilac and pastel purple. We’re not mad (at all).

OPI Turn on the Northern Lights! $11

Can you tell that this one was inspired by the midnight sky? The deep, rich blue is infused with shimmer for a hint of reflective glow.

OPI Check Out the Old Geysirs $11

“True blue” is how the brand describes this shade. This cheery, pastel color reminds us of clean, cold underground springs.

OPI I’ll Have a Gin & Tectonic $11

Finally, we have this peachy-nude color, which happens to be OPI’s tribute to the fiery volcanic underground of Iceland.
