This Beauty Brand Chose a 53-Year-Old Ballerina to Front Its New Campaign
Due to its immense demands on the human body (among other things), the world of ballet remains largely youth driven—which is why it's nothing short of remarkable that at Alessandra Ferri, 53, is one of the oldest and most celebrated working ballerinas in the world. In fact, Ferri recently un-retired after a 10-year hiatus to reprise her role as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet—a part she first played when she was just 19.
And this in itself is fittingly the subject of a new No7 campaign to celebrate the launch of the drugstore brand's cult-beloved anti-aging serum—Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum ($34)—a formula that boasted a 12,000-person wait list when it launched in the UK last spring. The serum's campaign video highlights the juxtaposition of youth and graceful aging by showing Ferri dance the part of Juliet—accompanied by a hologram of her 19-year-old self.

As for the serum, you can buy it now at Target, Ulta, and Walgreens. It's a heavily tested formula that seriously delivers on results: After using it for two weeks, 87% of consumers in a clinical trial found that their skin looked visibly younger. (And the buzz is real—that wait list doesn't lie.)
