Experience

Natalie has been writing her whole life—in her journal, for school, and for extracurricular projects—and she discovered her love for journalism at CSUN. During her undergrad career, she was an editorial assistant at the campus's Marketing & Communications office. Her tenure consisted of interviewing campus community members and writing up a feature on them or their recent accomplishments. She wrote features for the university news blog, pieces for the university's biannual magazine, and press releases in addition to administrative duties.

Since graduating magna cum laude from California State University, Northridge with a Communications Studies degree in 2018, Natalie has written for some of the biggest beauty and lifestyle publications. She's been contributing to Byrdie since September 2020.
