Natural beauty expert and skincare line founder Indie Lee has shared an exclusive recipe with us to soothe your tired body and leave your skin baby-soft.
1 cup organic whole milk
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. raw honey
1 tsp. vanilla (in jojoba oil)
6 drops ylang ylang
6 drops jasmine
“Milk has been used in bathing for centuries (and in many cultures) for its hydrating and softening properties,” Lee says. “This recipe is great for after hitting the slopes, reviving after holiday parties, or simply sneaking away for a few minutes to soothe skin. The blend of ylang ylang and jasmine offers an aromatherapeutic blend, while baking soda detoxifies and alkalizes the body. The result: silky-smooth skin!”
1. Cook the milk, baking soda, vanilla, and honey over low heat until warm.
2. Remove from heat, add essential oils, and stir.
3. Pour mixture into bathwater and relax in milky water for 10-15 minutes.
