Heaven Is This Year's Met Gala Beauty Looks

Updated 05/09/18

There's just something so special about the Met Gala. Literally all of the world's brightest starts flock to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, for the glittering event that's characterised by an incredible guest list, bold fashion choices, and a few controversial moments (always), just for good measure. This year is no different, and with the "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" theme, we're sure that the Met Gala 2018 is set to blow the top off every red carpet event we've seen so far.

Of course, our eyes will be fixed firmly on the hair and makeup looks, pulling out the best and compiling them below for your viewing pleasure. While it's going to be tough to top Beyonce's 2016 ponytail, or Rihanna's dreamy, pink blush situation last year, we're sure there's plenty of awe-inducing beauty moments to come. For every amazing look in real time, keep scrolling (and be sure to check back all day).
