We'll admit it: Screenshotting Meghan Markle's beauty looks has become a bit of a hobby of ours. Not only does she look beautiful all the time, but she also knows a thing or two about how to apply her products. The actress turned royal used to edit a lifestyle website called The Tig for three years, alongside acting in U.S. TV show, Suits, which is why we've scoured the internet for some of her biggest beauty secrets that you need to read now. She's even given away her love of facials and the strange trick that helps to amp-up her highlighter.

#1 The Drugstore Mascara She Swears By
During her time on Suits, Meghan Markle learnt a thing or two about makeup from the show's MUA, Lydia Sellers, but it turns out, she also taught Sellers some tricks. One being the secret to fluttery, curled lashes, and you can get it in Boots. Markle loves Maybelline's Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara to help amplify and add volume to her lashes, and we don't blame her. It's a cult mascara for a reason.
#2 The Product Responsible For Her Glow
If there's one thing we want to learn about Meghan Markle's beauty routine, it's how she gets that unbelievable glow, and we may have just figured it out. The Cut revealed that Markle is a huge fan of Tatcha's newly reformulated Rice Enzyme Powder Exfoliator. Last month, the Tatcha team replaced the four rice bran–based formulations of classic, deep, gentle and calming to an even gentler formula that still does an effective job of buffing away at any dead skin cells. You'll be left with a soft, glowing complexion, just like Markle.
This is currently not currently available in the UK, but if you are heading to America, you can pick it up at Sephora or Tatcha for £50. And in the meantime, shop our favourite powder alternative below.
#3 The Royal Recommendation
Kate Middleton has been using a £42 organic face oil at night for years and has, according to palace sources, recommended the oil to Markle. The Daily Mail has reported that Middleton keeps the oil on her bedside table at Kensington Palace. Beuti Skincare Beauty Sleep Elixir (£42) contains a blend of 14 oils to support the skin's barrier function whilst also keeping inflammation at bay.
#4 Use Lip Balm to Amp Up Your Highlighter
If there's one look Meghan Markle has nailed, it's how to glow from within, and thanks to her makeup artist, Daniel Martin, we now know how to amp up our glow, Meghan style. Martin demonstrated how to apply highlighter to The Cut, and interestingly he suggested going over your stick or powder highlighter with a lip balm. He suggests using any kind that isn't a liquid and slips this step on Meghan if he's using a cream or liquid highlighter.
#5 The Five-Minute Face
We love this idea of doing a five-minute face routine. Essentially, this is a quick way to do your makeup in the morning, which Markle says she's perfected. The trick? Not wearing foundation. All she does is put on some Touche Éclat, curled lashes, mascara, ChapStick and a little bit of blush. That is my favourite kind of look," she told Allure.
#6 The Secret to Long Lashes
Always hunting down the best way to make your lashes look longer and fuller? Markle swears by Revitalash, and now we do too.
#7 The Power of a Great Facial
Byrdie's favourite skincare expert Nichola Joss is Markle's go-to for when she wants a great facial. When speaking about her favourite beauty treatments to Glamour, the star revealed that Joss's were her favourite because she "literally massages your face from inside your mouth! Insane, right?"
She also wrote about Joss on her website The Tig saying, "Nichola also happens to have the kindest and most calming energy that just being in her company, alone, feels therapeutic."
#8 The Hair Flip
Want a new way to do your hair? Markle has a tip called the "hair flip," which is what she likes to do when her hair is feeling heavy. "When my hair is feeling a little weighted, Suanne, my hair artist on set, has me bend forward and she sprays a little Oribe Dry Texturising Spray (or nothing at all), and then has me 'flip back hard' to give my hair a little extra bounce," she told Birchbox. We're totally trying this one.
#9 The Smile
There's one final tip that we love that doesn't have anything to do with makeup or products. The star says that "everyone looks prettier when they smile," and we couldn't agree more.
Which of these would you try? Come tell us in The British Beauty Line over on Facebook.
