Meghan Markle: I Really Think You Should Try These Aussie Beauty Products

There's only one week until the Duke and Duchess of Sussex make their way down under, and to say I'm excited would be putting it subtly. Specifically, I'm excited for Meghan Markle (and the prospect of catching a glimpse of her whilst on my lunch break in the city? TOO MUCH). Like the rest of the world, I'm a fan. She's whip smart, not afraid to bend the rules a little, and loves a natural, glowy makeup look as much as the next beauty editor.

Previously, we've reported on her go-to highlighter, that wedding hairdo, and what she loves to snack on, but I still wonder what the royal would buy if she had a minute to nip into Sephora whilst here in Sydney? We're #blessed here in Australia to be surrounded by so many amazing home-grown beauty brands, and it really would be a shame for Markle to miss out. So, if you're listening Duchess, below you'll find a list of all the Aussie products I'm sure you'd love. If you need a shopping pal, you know where to find me!

The Beauty Chef Sleep Inner Beauty Powder $55

The Beauty Chef's Sleep Powder is the perfect antidote to jet lag and whirlwind press-trip induced exhaustion. It's laced with lemon balm and passionflower to promote deep, restful slumber. Because under eye bags aren't very chic, are they?

Rationale Proceramide Cleanser $92

If I had five minutes to take Meghan shopping, we'd make a beeline straight for Rationale. This cleanser is a great entry point that won't take all of her baggage allowance on the plane home. Also, it contains ceramides that are great for calming irritated skin (no matter what the time zone).

Lanolips Tinted Balm $15

Markle knows her way around a nude lip, and I have no doubt in my mind this tinted offering from the cult brand Lanolips would light her up like a Christmas tree. Hydrating, flattering, and never sticky, I dare say this would fast become a staple.

Sodashi Clay Cleanser With Lime $69

Sodashi is one of my favourite Australian skincare brands, and it really doesn't get much more iconic than this zesty, lime-scented clay cleanser. It's also packed with macadamia and jojoba oils for a nourishing clean.

Sportsgirl Tars In Her Eyes Bronze Eyeshadow Palette $30

It's no secret Makrle is privvy to a drugstore bargain or two, so I'm 100 percent sure our very own Sportsgirl's beauty offering would rock her world. A fan of neutrals, this bronzy palette would work a treat against her gorgeous skin and classic style. There's even a hint of glitter, should her and Harry get the chance to sneak off for date night on their travels.

Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature Mist $55

If I refuse to board a flight without a face mist, I can guarantee Markle is much the same. Jurlique is an iconic Australian brand, and this new version of the signature mist refreshes like nothing else. Great for a little pep up between the 76 scheduled royal engagements.

Venustus S.O.S Roll On $59

I mean, Markle has only been an official royal for about five months, so I'm guessing there's still moments of stress, panic, or anxiety. That's where this beautiful roll on from Venustus is a life saver. A few drops on the wrist with a few minutes of deep breathing leaves you centered, and calmer.

Bondi Sands Glo Gloss Finishing Glow $18

There's no brand quite so quintessentially Aussie like Bondi Sands. I can definitely see Markle working a little bit of this sheen onto her shins before a big event, especially since she seems to forgo stockings most of the time.

Mecca Cosmetica To Save Face Sunscreen $40

There's no denying the Australian sun is powerful, so a good sunscreen is necessary. Mecca is basically an institution when it comes to the Australian beauty market, and this facial formula has a high SPF, and feels nice and light under makeup.
