Shortly after graduating from Syracuse University with a bachelor of science degree in Magazine Journalism and a minor in Food Studies, Megan landed her first full-time editorial job as the editorial assistant at SHAPE.com. A few years later, she was promoted to assistant editor at the wellness publication. Throughout her time at SHAPE.com, Megan worked with fitness pros, dermatologists, anti-diet registered dietitians, and other experts to prove health and fitness is not one-size-fits-all, bust skin- and hair-care myths, and quash diet-culture beliefs. In 2023, she became a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise.
Megan has a B.S. in Magazine Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She's also a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise.
