If you'd have told me I'd be championing '80s-style frosted makeup a week ago, I would have run in the opposite direction. Don't get me wrong—I'm not totally against shimmer come Christmas, and obviously, if the frosting comes on top of a decadent cake, I will eat it. However, on my face, I've never been so sure—until recently. Not only did Marc Jacobs Beauty launch in Harvey Nichols, but the brand also launched its Leopard Frost collection. Oh, and we think that one product, in particular, is everything. Yes, we're talking about the new Le Marc Leopard Frost Lip Creme Lipstick ($27).
This creamy lipstick is the perfect balance of pigment and translucency to give you a subtle dose of frosting. It comes in five shades, and its instant metallic sheen helps to plump and moisturize your lips while giving off a high-impact finish. I personally fell for Sugar Sugar, a soft-pink shade that would look great worn with barely-there makeup. Michael Ashton, Marc Jacobs's global artistry ambassador, used this hue on Lila Moss (the new face of the brand), who obviously looked incredible.
Marc Jacobs also launched a seven-shade frosted eye shadow palette, which we naturally got very excited about.
