Experience

Mackenzie started her career while still in college as a National Beauty and Style Writer for Her Campus. During her senior year, she worked as an editorial intern for California Wedding Day Magazine in Los Angeles before beginning her freelance career as a writer and editor. She joined Byrdie’s Quality Team in 2019 as an updates producer before becoming an updates editor. She also contributes articles to the site.

Mackenzie graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a B.A. in Digital Journalism and an A.A.S. in Applied Business with a concentration in Marketing.
