Around here, we look forward to March, mostly because it signifies the end of winter (for most of us, at least). Days get longer, the sun gets hotter, and we begin online shopping for our new warm-weather beauty and fashion picks. It's also the month when we begin planning our grand summer adventures. Like we said, it's nice.
Apparently, Sephora thinks so too because according to Allure, the brand is adding to our optimistic spring spirit by treating us all with the release of seven eye and face palettes. These are totally new products from brands like Urban Decay, Tarte, Pat McGrath, Natasha Denona, and more. There's only one caveat: All seven new palettes launch tomorrow, March 8, and they'll only be available at Sephora for the following 30 days. After that, they'll be gone from Sephora's shelves and only available at their respective brand retailers.
Not only are these palettes perfect for spring and summer, with lots of blues, greens, pinks, and reds, but they're also perfect purchases for earning those coveted Insider Beauty Points. Consider this Sephora's version of March Madness.
Urban Decay's newest palette is basically a compact book of makeup. On one side you'll see eight highly pigmented eye shadows that range from pearlescent beige to rich chocolate brown. On the other side, you'll find four coordinating shades of blush and highlighter.
Violet Voss's latest palette is expansive. It includes 20 rich shadows ranging from nude colors to bold green, red, and pink. The shades also come in one of two finishes—a 3D metal foil finish and a traditional matte finish. To us, this palette basically screams summer vacation.
Natasha Denona is the brand name behind some of the most luxurious eye shadow palettes out there. This one, called Tropic Palette, houses 15 never-before-seen shades like glistening shamrock green and midnight blue. Question: Is it weird that we're inspired to take an impromptu beach vacation by the summery shades in an eye shadow palette?
Another pick from Natasha Denona, this palette is smaller and more compact. It's also retailing for only $25, which is a huge deal considering the brand's other full-size palettes are priced over $100 each. It's inspired by the sunset and includes five new shades that come in a variety of finishes like matte, shimmer, and metallic foil effect.
This Tarte palette is super buzzy. It's inspired by mermaids and includes 14 matte and shimmer shades. The best part, though, is clearly the packaging. The gold clamshell closure is covered in iridescent blue and green.
This Benefit cheek palette includes four full-size blushes and one full-size bronzer. It's the perfect palette for accentuating a bronze summer glow (or faking it, depending on what time of the year we're talking about).
Pat McGrath is even in on the Sephora March palette launch. Her Bronze Ambition Palette includes six shimmery metallic shades of copper, red, pink, and burnt umber. Use them to create a fiery eye look or as blush or highlight. Each shade is highly pigmented and blendable.
