Lily Aldridge Is On the Cover of This Australian Digital Magazine
Gritty Pretty's new spring issue is out today with mega model Lily Aldridge on the cover. The model and mother looks beautiful (as always), but we're in awe of these particular images for another reason—they present Aldridge in her most natural state yet. In stark contrast to her professional Victoria's Secret vibes, the images are more representative of her personal cool-girl style. (Think: raw skin, statement brows and wind-tousled hair.) The woman responsible for Aldridge's pared back look is Dotti, aka the artist behind many of Alicia Keys' no-makeup looks of late.
See for yourself.
You'll notice that the shoot is also absent from heavy retouching (yes, those are fine lines you see), with the true flawlessness of Aldridge's complexion shining through. When quizzed on the nature of her skincare routine, the model says it's all about keeping her complexion healthy: "I drink lots of water and always clean my skin every night before bed and wear moisturiser with an SPF during the day." Simple, but arguably the basis of any good regime.
