As part of the series, she won a WEBBY award in 2020 for her investigation into child labor in rural India tied to American makeup companies.
Lebsack opened Refinery29’s first L.A. office in 2015 and spent five years leading the site’s West Coast editorial coverage before going freelance in 2020. Prior, she was the founding editor of Byrdie and on the original editorial team of Violet Grey.
