It's is a sad time for the beauty industry, because Laura Mercier announced it will be pulling out of the Australian market effective July 1. In a post made on the brand's Facebook page, it was stated that the reason behind the exit is part of a greater strategy for a global brand transformation. Unfortunately, this includes ranges available from David Jones, Sephora, and Adore Beauty, as well as from the brand directly.
With cult favourites like the Tinted Moisturiser ($65), and Loose Setting Powder ($62), we're assuming the news isn't going to be received too well as it makes its way around the internet. Of course, it will continue to be available overseas, but might we suggest stocking up if there's something you can't live without in the meantime?
