Exclusive: Lady Gaga's New Eyeshadow Quads Will Inspire Your Zoom Holiday Glam

Ever since the launch of her very own cosmetics line, Lady Gaga has been churning out creative ways to make makeup application compact, easy and fun. The latest release out of Haus Laboratories comes just in time for holidays in the form of a cheekily-named eyeshadow quad. 4-way ($24) comes in nine different color and finish combinations—buttery mattes, rich, dense metallics, and lusty shimmers—for endless play. 

If you’re not performing at, let's say the Super Bowl, though the palettes could come off slightly intimidating. Gaga’s longtime makeup artist and Global Artistry Director of Haus Laboratories, Sarah Tanno gave us tips on how to express yourself this season using 4-Way so your look is less main stage, and more Zoom holiday party appropriate. Even Gaga found herself gravitating toward a softer glam for the holiday campaign.

"Gaga wanted to look and feel sexy, and powerful. She felt her best in soft, natural colors she would wear every day in a more glamourous way," Tanno tells Byrdie exclusively. "It’s not about the color choices but the way makeup and glamour can make you feel your best no matter the form."

Since the holidays are going to look a bit different this year, Tanno shared with us four ways of expressing ourselves through our makeup this holiday season.

1. Do what makes you feel your most glamorous. Just because your party is online; show up looking your best.
2. Remember that you are a gift this holiday season, so treat yourself to a little extra time getting ready. 
3. Find 4 ways to love yourself this holiday, we all deserve a little self-love, and getting glam is a great way to practice self-love.
