Will we ever tire of European pharmacies? Highly unlikely. From oils to creams to gels, they’re dripping with magical products you simply can’t find in any old American drugstore. However, every now and then, one of the lust-worthy gems European women rely on makes its way across the pond (and subsequently into our very open arms). That’s the story on this cult balm—or rather, baume. One sells every 15 seconds in Europe. And now you can get it in the U.S. Scroll down to find out what it is!
What’s the product? La Roche-Posay’s Cicaplast Baume B5 ($15). It’s a multipurpose balm designed to soothe and moisturize irritated skin. Use it on your face, lips, body, hands, feet, anywhere—it’ll treat everything from cracked heels to burns to diaper rash. (In case you didn’t know, we’re pretty obsessed with balms.) Our one qualm with the multitasking wonders is that they can feel greasy. That’s not the case with this one. It has more of a lotion-like texture—never oily or sticky. The combination of vitamin B5, glycerin, shea butter, and minerals has been proven both in the clinical lab tests and the court of public opinion.
Pick one up next time you’re in Paris or at your local CVS.
