Why Kylie Jenner's Lip Kit Shade "Kristen" Is Extra Special

Once again, Kylie Jenner has blessed us with even more Lip Kit shades. An Instagram announcement revealed three additions, including one with a very personal touch. Following the trend set by Koko K, Kourt K, and Mary Jo K, Kylie is releasing another shade named after a member of her famous family. She happily announced the reveal of Kristen, a sweet pinky-red shade named after her mom, Kris. “Kristen” is also Kylie’s middle name, making this shade all the more special. With another of Kylie’s family members immortalized as a Lip Kit shade, there are two famous sisters noticeably missing from the lineup: Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner have yet to get shades named after them. While we patiently wait for the day a Kim K or a Kendall J LipKit is announced, we will happily make do with this latest addition.

Along with Kristen, Kylie also released Ginger and Maliboo, posting photos of herself wearing the shades and swatches on her wrist. Ginger is a brown-orange shade, while Maliboo is a taupy nude. Both of these colors are very in line with Kylie’s love of a nude lip, and she even noted that Ginger is one of her all-time favorite LipKit shades.

Kristen and Maliboo dropped on July 20, and Ginger became available on July 22 at KylieCosmetics.comKeep scrolling to see the shades!
