We can't relate to Kylie Jenner on most levels. She runs a billion-dollar beauty empire, was featured on the cover of Forbes, and takes lavish vacations on private yachts—and she's done all of that by the time she turned 22 years-old. At her age, we were living off of boxed mac n' cheese. Flash forward to current day, and we're over here trying our best to cut back on our monthly Postmates spending. But we digress.
There are things we can relate to, though, and those include her love of all things makeup, skincare, and her budget-friendly cold cures—the latter of which Jenner just shared on Instagram. "I get sick 10x more now that I have a baby," she wrote, "parents...is this true for you too?"
Along with a mug of steamy tea, Jenner posted a photo with four cold-curing products, all of which are available on Amazon. Keep scrolling to see all four of Kylie Jenner's favorite immune-boosting must-haves.
First, we couldn't help but notice that she uses Beekeeper's Naturals Propolis Throat Spray ($14). It's a throat spray that contains only three ingredients: purified water, non-GMO vegetable glycerin, and Canadian bee propolis extract (it's a compound produced by bees that has long been used to fight infections and heal wounds, thanks to its high vitamin and mineral content).
To use it, and reap all of its benefits, simply spritz it into your mouth as directed. It promises to naturally and effectively boost immunity.
Keeping with the bee theme, Jenner also swears by this honey ginger tea. It's a sweet tea that is easy to make on-the-go (thus why the word 'instant' is in the name). We have no doubt sipping some natural honey and ginger tea helps. After all, honey is well-known for its antibacterial and antioxidant properties. Ginger, on the other hand, is a traditional home remedy for everything from cold and flu symptoms to nausea.
Next up is the exact B-12 supplement Jenner posted. This one, from Vimergy, is USDA-certified organic. Why B-12, you ask? It offers a whole host of benefits, including the improvement of mood, energy levels, cognitive function, healthy digestion, and more. It is also widely used to reduce overall inflammation in the body.
The fourth and final product that Kylie Jenner is using to cure her cold is an echinacea supplement. Echinacea is another all-natural common cold remedy, since it's renowned for its anti-microbial properties. If you're not big on supplements, try drinking echinacea tea, which offers the same cold and flu fighting benefits. Jenner's a fan of Traditional Medicinals Throat Coat Tea ($6).
