It's hard to believe that Kylie Cosmetics, the namesake brand belonging to the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner sisters, is on track to become a billion-dollar beauty company when it has only ever been offered online (save for a few pop-up shops here and there). Even though most of the reality star's fans haven't had the chance to shop the collection IRL, the lip kits, eyeshadow palettes, brushes, and highlighters still sell out. I guess that goes to show the extreme power of Kylie Jenner's influence, huh?
Jenner has never been one to stick to the status quo. Whether it's through her brand or her beauty style, she always seems to take us by surprise. Like when she took to Twitter to announce some very exciting news: Her makeup brand will soon be carried by Ulta.
"I'm so excited to let you guys know that Kylie Cosmetics will be coming to all Ulta Beauty stores around the county this holiday!… More to come," she tweeted. Is it vague? Yes. Is it equally as exciting? Also yes.
She hasn't posted anything else, but it was enough to send Instagram into an uproar. Like we said, her brand is popular, and people are excited to see it IRL before buying, especially if it's at a store as convenient and accessible as Ulta. Now, when we go to Ulta to pick up our tried-and-true favorites, whether drugstore or otherwise, we can also snag one of Jenner's new lip kits, palettes, or brushes. The best part is that we'll be able to test them out before dropping our paycheck on something that we're not sure about. That's pretty cool, right?
Like we said, aside from the initial tweet, there's no word yet from Ulta or Kylie on when the products will officially become available. All we know is that it's somewhere around "the holiday." We expect to see it soon, though. We also expect that seeing Kylie Cosmetics in Ulta stores means we'll get a firsthand look at her upcoming collaboration with BFF Jordyn Woods. (Speaking of that collab, Jenner has teased a few products, but we're still anxiously waiting to see what new makeup products might come from it.)
