Just in time for Mother's Day, Kris Jenner, the OG momager and queen of one-liners, dropped her first-ever makeup tutorial with vlogger Patrick Starrr. The duo created a "snatched, beat, stamped, painted face" (Starrr's words) using Kris's new collaboration with daughter Kylie, aptly named the Kris x Kylie Collection. In the tutorial, Starrr gives Jenner a major lewk, first with a fully baked foundation and powder base, and then (of course, using Jenner's new line) a smoky eye and creamy brown-nude lip.
Aside from all of the makeup application tips we learn from watching Starrr's master artistry, we discover some fun behind-the-scenes tidbits about the line: Kylie actually surprised Kris with the line by compiling emoji and memes of her mom and then presented the collection to Kris. "I was like, 'All right, you guys, think of names, and when I come back I'll help you guys finalize it," Kylie explains. "I maybe left for 15 minutes, and when I came back, my mom thought of everything already. Every single name was picked, and they read me all the names.
I was dying laughing because the names are just so funny and all the quotes my mom is, like, known for."
Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans will be thrilled to find the powders have classic one-liners such as "You're doing amazing sweetie!" "Your sister's going to jail," and "It's an emergency." Watch the full tutorial below.
Now that you know how to apply a face beat fit for a boss, shop the collection below so you can create the look at home.
Starrr starts Jenner's eye look with rose shade Paybacks a Bitch along the crease. He then traces this with It's an Emergency, a matte taupe, and although it isn't mentioned, we think he's topped off the look with 10% along the crease and on the lower lash line for a full-blown smoky eye. It's finished off with Vodka Tonic, a shimmery copper on the center of the lid.
Starrr overdraws Jenner's lips (naturally) with her lip pencil in Give Me a Kiss (a phrase Jenner says she often says to her grandkids), which translates in the video to a grungy brown-nude.
Starrr then fills in Jenner's lips with the creamy lipstick counterpart to the liner, calling it "absolute perfection."
To top off the lip color and give it some dimension, Starrr uses one of Jenner's glosses from her mini collection called Really???. The end result is really good.
Starr finishes up the look by dusting Your Sister's Going to Jail, a delicate peach blush, on the apples of the cheeks and up into the temples.
