Last month, Kim Kardashian West posted a photo of white orchids on her Instagram account. It was nothing too out of the ordinary, just another snapshot of her life that she chose to share with her 104 million followers. Except for the fact that she tagged a new and mysterious Instagram account titled KKW Fragrance. This subtle new product announcement, of course, set the internet wild.
We didn't have much information about the fragrance then, aside from the orchid hint. Since then, we've learned that KKW Beauty's first-ever fragrance will be housed inside crystal packaging (if Kim's latest Instagram posts are any indication), and it will also smell of creamy, floral gardenia. This is all good information to have pre–fragrance launch, though the latest news is what really surprised us. She isn't releasing just one fragrance. You see, in true Kardashian extravagance, she's launching three debut KKW fragrances, all at the same time. Keep scrolling to learn more about these three fragrances ahead of the November 15 launch.
The official KKW Fragrance Instagram account shared this post over the weekend. In it, we see a snapshot of the packaging, which appears to be a glass bottle carved into a chic, crystal-inspired shape. This photo was captioned, "First look at Crystal Gardenia, one of three scents available 11.15 at KKWFRAGRANCE.COM." Before this image was posted, the account shared another, showing three KKW boxes stacked on top of each other. Oh, Kim, you and your subtle product launch hints.
Here is another peek at the brand's packaging. If you look closely, you'll see that some of the crystals aren't crystals at all: They have spray bottles inside of them. C'est chic, non? But the caption is where it gets really interesting. "Three scents: Crystal Gardenia, Crystal Gardenia Citrus and Crystal Gardenia Oud," it read.
We're expecting each iteration to be a heady floral base with different top notes—maybe orchid flower for the first, a fresh zing of citrus for the second, and a spicy, smoky note for the third? We're hoping these will be sold in a set, so we can smell all three upon launch, which, remember is November 15. So get ready because if it's anything like the KKW Beauty Crème Contour and Highlight Kits ($48), they will sell out quick. Honestly, how could they not? They're already creating so much buzz.
