We're not shy about our love for Kendall Jenner here at Byrdie HQ. The girl grew up and experienced her awkward teenage years in front of millions of Americans and has still managed to emerge a poised, graceful young adult, who isn’t afraid to work hard for what she wants. By now, we’ve seen her walk every runway from Marc Jacobs to Chanel, grace the pages of Vogue (Anna Wintour approves!), and land herself a major beauty campaign with Estée Lauder. Today, however, we saw a completely different side of the young model and social media star. For the cover of Allure’s March issue, shot by Mario Testino, Jenner ditches her signature sleek, straight strands for…wait for it…a super-curly ‘do. Oh, and she’s holding a monkey. Hairstylist Christiaan curled her strands with a medium-barrel curling iron and pinned them to set the curls, while makeup artist Lucia Pica ran a smudgy black liner around her top and lower lash lines for a ‘90s glamazon supermodel effect. Suffice to say, we dig this look, and chalk it up to further proof that Jenner is the ultimate beauty chameleon. Click on over to Allure to see all the photos!
