Kate Middleton never looks tired, despite living forever in the spotlight, traveling back and forth between public and private engagements, and raising two children with a third on the way. A team of hair, makeup, and wardrobe assistants sure helps, but so do the various beauty products she uses in her downtime (like this $65 all-natural face oil that gives her that signature Kate Middleton glow).
According to Cosmopolitan, her latest skincare obsession has been revealed, but it's not a serum or a moisturizer. In fact, it's not a face product at all. It's a hand cream—one she loves for moisturizing and hydrating her hands and cuticles in a chilly English winter. It makes sense that the Duchess requires a good hand cream—after all, she's constantly shaking hands.
Apparently, the Duchess was given this hand cream by the head consulate and ambassador of Canada when she had Princess Charlotte. Since then, it's become her favorite. (We're not surprised—Canadians know a thing or two about the harsh effects of cold weather on skin).
It's a gentle nonirritating formula that's made without any fragrance, steroids, hydrocortisone, soy, gluten, parabens, or phthalates. Plus, it goes above and beyond normal hand cream with 1% medicinal colloidal oatmeal and active ingredients to soothe and moisturize dry and cracked skin. This is why it's so well-loved as an eczema and dry skin treatment—it calms redness, itching, and extreme dryness on contact. In other words, it will cure those dehydrated, rough, and cracked hands we see throughout winter.
It has a big fan following in the States too, so we're assuming Meghan Markle is privy to Kate's hand cream preference. With her royal duties beginning long before the wedding, and in cold weather like this, we're pretty confident she has her own tube stashed away in her bag.
