When we head to the gym, we’re so focused on getting in a good workout and thorough sweat sesh that our beauty look isn’t necessarily top of mind. It’s usually something along the lines of throwing on a little moisturizer, putting our hair in a bun, and getting on with it. As it turns out, actress/dancer/singer Julianne Hough isn’t all about the glitz and the glam when she hits the gym either; think speedy—albeit futuristic—hairstyles (more on that below) and low-maintenance skincare. Hough tells PopSugar that Daisy Ridley “stole” her usual gym ’do, referring to the tri-bun Ridley donned at the Oscars (she was kidding, of course). Hough explains that previously, her hair was too short to put up into a ponytail, so creating three small buns was a more feasible option at the time. (Hey, it made its way to the red carpet, so she must have been ahead of the curve.) To refresh sweaty strands, Hough turns to Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray ($44), especially if she’s had her hair up in a braid and wants to sport those post-gym waves afterward.
