Model Secrets: What Iskra Lawrence Really Uses on Her Skin

Updated 01/27/18

Model Iskra Lawrence is well-known, in part for her refreshing approach to body image. Lawrence told Byrdie UK exclusively that "after all the years of rejection and body scrutiny I received, all I wanted was to feel good enough as me. I was done with editing myself, my body, my opinions, and I wanted to be the model that I wished I had been able to look up to growing up." See? Refreshing.

Being a model, Lawrence is undeniably beautiful and naturally so, and since she works in the modelling industry and has been around her fair share of makeup artists, we wanted to find out which products had made it into her own off-duty cosmetics pouch.

Iskra Lawrence's Makeup Bag Spill:

Hourglass Travel Size Primer (£20)

It gives my skin a smooth, even texture and helps my makeup stay all day.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (£37)

I love the glowy finish and great coverage; I mix shades depending on my tan.

Benefit Roller Lash Curling Mascara (£20)

It gives my skin a smooth, even texture and helps my makeup stay all day.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (£37)

I love the glowy finish and great coverage; I mix shades depending on my tan.

Benefit Roller Lash Curling Mascara (£20)

I have light eyelashes, so I love a good mascara to bring out my blue eyes—this one separates and lengthens really well.

Tom Ford Concealer for Men (£32)

I don’t care that it’s men’s, it’s cute, compact and really creamy, so it blends in well.

YSL Touche Éclat (£25)

An OG in the makeup world, it helps get rid of my under-eye bags and really opens up my eyes when I use it under my brows.

Vita Liberata Trystals Minerals Self-Tanning Bronzing Minerals (£35)

This bronzer tans your face over time. I haven’t seen it tan me that much, but it’s one of the first bronzers that I can wear all day and I don’t get breakouts where I’ve contoured.

Eyebrow Brush

I don’t F with my brows, I hardly ever have to pluck and when I do it's just random strays. I am too lazy to do all the fancy brow pencilling, so I just brush them every morning.

Dior Lip Pencil in Grège 169 (£19)

Okay, so I do really like this pencil, BUT it's actually a substitute because Make Up For Ever stopped making my fave wooden lip pencil and I literally could have cried, so now I'm on the lookout for a new wooden replacement.

Ciaté Chisel Eye Liner (£16)
