Wondering when knowing how to exfoliate your eyebrows became a thing? Us too, to be honest. But in some ways, we get it. It's annoying to think that there's yet another component that you have to add to your beauty regimen, but hear us out: There are a few reasons you might want to consider doing it. Not only will it leave you with better skin, it'll stop the formation of those annoying little bumps commonly known as ingrown hairs (you know the ones), which can hinder your eyebrow-makeup application.

We spoke to the experts at Blink Brow Bar to find out exactly how to exfoliate your eyebrows so you can have your best brows ever.

Keep scrolling for a super-quick guide on how to exfoliate your eyebrows and why it's so useful.

Why should you exfoliate your eyebrows?

According to Blink Brow Bar, there is one clear reason: avoiding ingrown hairs. Ideally, by exfoliating your eyebrows, you want to "lift away dry and flaky skin, revealing softer and conditioned brows," said their experts. Not only that, "It will also ensure your brows stay free from pesky ingrown hairs, making the threading process easier, with cleaner and more precise results."

What do you need?

All you need is an exfoliating scrub that's also super moisturising. Blink Brow Exfoliating Rose Scrub (£5) is infused with vitamins and nut oils to help keep the skin stay really moisturised, but at the same time it helps to shed dead skin cells. They also have an incredible Brow Exfoliator (£17) pencil for when you're on the go, which includes crushed sugar and sweet almond.

How should you do it?

Don't fret, you won't exfoliate away your hair. Ideally, you should apply the scrub above and below the eyebrows and "gently massage in small circular motions, then wipe away any residue with a damp cotton pad," says Blink Brow Bar. The experts also recommend that you do this once every week. See, way easier and quicker than you thought, no?
