#1: A Deep Side Parting

"Just parting your hair on a deep side is a great solution, as a centre parting is too symmetrical so it will only show off a big forehead. This is a great quick-fix if you can’t go to the hairdresser."

#2: A See-Through Fringe

"A proper fringe will work but you can’t make it very deep. If you’ve got a small forehead you want to cut the fringe to make the head look bigger, so the opposite will be the case for a big forehead—so you want to opt for a smaller cut. You want something like Caroline de Maigret as her fringe is disconnected and you can see through it."

#3: A Thicker Style

"You really don't want to make the hair too high on top. Scrunch the hair for width, as longer hair will just make a big forehead problem worse. Dry shampoo, such as Redken Pillow Proof (£14), is amazing for adding width. Consider it your secret weapon for looking after you fringe too. Always have a can of dry shampoo in your office drawer."

#4: A Bob Haircut

"A shorter haircut is always better to disguise a bigger forehead. If you think your head looks long, then you need to create width in your hair, so you’re better off with a great bob, and maybe with a side-swept fringe."

#5: A Side-Swept Fringe

"There are a couple of types of fringes that really work to make a forehead look smaller. A side fringe- on a side parting will help with hiding a high forehead."
