People may think she's kooky or "out-of-touch," but Gwyneth Paltrow truly is my spirit animal. From her enthusiasm for about a billion different alternative health practices, to an endless love for kale, I'm pretty much always on board with whatever new thing she's doing. One thing I live for in particular is a Goop-approved beauty product. We've talked a lot about Gwyneth's devotion to non-toxic brands and living, detailing her morning skincare routine, glow-boosting secrets, and even the foods she eats for a better complexion.

To say I've taken it all on board is an understatement. So when I discovered Goop had recommended a favorite local brand's 100% natural, detoxifying face mask, I wondered: "Is this the one product that will grant me a similarly glowy visage?" I'm pretty convinced it is.

The product in question is none other than Sodashi's Brightening Marine Mineral Mask ($120), and if you're familiar with Sodashi, Gwyneth's stamp of approval will make perfect sense. The brand is the brainchild of New Zealand-born Megan Larsen, a woman with "a unique background in aesthetics, aromatherapy, Ayurveda, Transcendental Meditation, biochemistry and natural healthcare." Sounds right up Gwynnie's alley, right? Having tried many of the brand's products in the past—all phenomenal, trust me—I'm more than happy to take Goop's endorsement of this mask to heart.

In fact, I'm calling it out as the only detox your party-worn skin needs this month.

The mask is full of skin-friendly ingredients like yellow clay, rosewood essential oil, and spirulina to help moisturize and brighten skin. It's recommended for all skin types, and it fights signs of dullness, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. Plus, it also works to remove impurities from your skin and draw out excess oil. Reviewers says despite it doing that, it's still not too drying. What's not to love?

Simply wear the mask for about 15 minutes and then rinse it off with a warm cloth. For even glowier skin, Sodashi recommends you wet your hands with warm water and instead of removing the mask entirely, gently rub it into your skin and leave it on for another 10-15 minutes. Not only does the mask moisturize and hydrate, it also helps stimulate skin cells for a faster cell turnover—meaning it helps with collagen production and making skin look more firm. The mask can literally do it all.
