Giambattista Valli Sent a Model With Unshaven Legs Down the Paris Runway

Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week always turns the tide of trends. New fashion and beauty from designers like Chanel, Elie Saab, and Givenchy define the looks and aesthetic that we will see throughout upcoming seasons. It's a big deal, and usually, it seems like what these designers and beauty influencers say, goes. For example, just look to this year's New York Fashion Week. The wet-hair look ruled all of the runways, and it went on to become a major trend. Actually, it's still a major trend. Celebs are still donning the look on this year's award show red carpets.

All of this is why a specific moment on the Giambattista Valli Couture runway was so striking. The designer sent a model down the runway wearing a textured, crinkled, bright pink gown that looked like it came straight out of a fairy tale. It was big and unique and eye-catching, but ironically, it wasn't the thing that was inspiring the most talk. Instead, it was the model's legs, which appeared to be completely unshaven.
