I don’t want to dunk on winter fashion, but after the holidays pass, it feels like there are few ways to get excited about dressing. When your main objective is to stay warm, bundled, and shielded from as many elements as possible, you’re not exactly thinking of how you can show off your best fit.

Spring is the recharge for summer, a steady introduction to shorter hemlines and being able to reveal your toes. While my initial instinct is to go on a unwieldy shopping spree to stock up on a hundred things I think I want, but do not need, and probably will never wear, I give myself some to pause and think about what’s actually missing in my closet and which things can fill the gaps.

Are any of my shoes one spring stroll away from disintegrating? Do my shorts and skirts still fit after another lockdown winter? Am I missing any essentials that I plan to wear week after week? Usually, the answer is yes to at least one of these questions, and then I begin my quest.

I love QVC. I love the excitement of the many personalities who share item after item for hours on end. I could listen to Lisa Rinna describe her famed duster for eternity. To me, it is peak glamor.

I’ve spent years dreaming of being one of those people (my DMs are open, QVC), but since I’m currently not on your television screen—a crime, I know—this is the best I can do for now. Below, read about my spring and summer favorites, which you yourself can purchase online from QVC’s website or app. Now, let’s get to shopping.

Dr. Scholl's Buckle Slides

Dr. Scholl’s may bring to mind bulky orthopedic shoes, but the brand also brings that same comfort and support to everyday favorites. These Buckle Slides are a spring and summer staple (seriously, we’ve talked about it before), whether you’re running a quick errand or going on a luxe vacation to the beaches of Mexico. I’m personally leaning toward the blue dawn shade, but, frankly, would probably end up buying them in every color.

Schutz Leather Braided Mid-Heel Sandals

That’s right, folks. Schutz is available on QVC. The trendy shoe brand’s Leather Braided Mid-Heel Sandals are a moment for summer, especially with a color range that includes lime green, bright orange, and a gorgeous vibrant lavender. The 2 ½ inch block heel is enough to give you a bit of a boost without all the wear and tear that comes with a sky-high pump.

VERO MODA Nemi One-Shoulder Crop Top

With one shoulder tops being deemed “too scandalous" during my 90's upbringing, I can’t get enough of them in adulthood. This one from Vero Moda is bright and playful for spring, and the ruched detailing at the waist keeps it comfortable while still feeling flirty.

Vince Camuto Leather Quilted Heeled Mules

For an on-trend shoe you’ll keep coming back to, allow me to introduce you to the Vince Camuto Leather Quilted Heeled Mules. With a walkable 1 ½ inch block heel, these will be your slip-on-and-go shoes for the coming months. Opt for a neutral if you live somewhere these can be worn year-round, or go for the light blue or pink if you plan on making these your go-to summer shoes.

Shop Easy Romper

I love a romper.’s Easy Romper is a one-and-done outfit for those busy summer days that have you running from errands to brunch to a family barbeque. The pearl buttons add a delicate touch, while the tie waist allows you to cinch as much or little as desired.

Romper Easy Romper $48.00

These are only a select few things of what I’ve been eyeing from QVC, though you are more than welcome to spend a few minutes (or hours) perusing the website and app to discover more staples for the upcoming season. To make things even sweeter, new customers can receive $10 off their purchase of $25 or more with the code SURPRISE, and you can easily split up your payments into three quick-and-dirty installments through EasyPay. What more could we ask for? Lisa Rinna hand-delivering our pieces to our doorstep? Yes, we could, but she’s very busy.
