The poppy red lip at Banana Republic F/W ’15 was Stila’s Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick ($22) in Tescoro.
You’ll have to wait until fall 2015 for the deep oxblood red lipstick used at 3.1 Phillip Lim F/W ’15—that’s when Nars will be releasing its new VIP Red Lipstick. In the meantime, we recommend Nars' Velvet Matte Lip Pencil ($26) in Mysterious Red.
At Erin Fetherston F/W ‘15, the lightest shade from Le Métier de Beauté’s Obsidian Odyssey Lip Kaleidoscope ($125) was used on the lips.
The matte red lips seen at Monique Lhuillier F/W ’15 were a blend MAC’s Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in Dance With Me and Feels So Grand (available fall 2015) and perfected with MAC’s Lip Pencil ($16) in Ruby Woo.
At Rebecca Minkoff F/W ’15, the barely-there nude lip came from Stila’s Nude Interlude Color Balm Lipstick ($22).
The vibrant purple lipstick at Nanette Lepore F/W ’15 was Maybelline’s Color Sensational Rebel Bloom Lipstick ($6) in Orchid Ecstasy.
A sheer layer of Temptu’s Color True Lipstick ($24) in Plush Plum was applied to the lips at BCBG Maxazria F/W ’15 for a just-bitten effect.
At Dennis Basso F/W ’15, lips were first dabbed with Avon’s Ultra Color Indulgence Lip Color ($5) in Chocolate Rose, and then topped with clear gloss for shine.
At Nicole Miller F/W ’15, the makeup artists used MAC’s Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in Lady-Be-Good (in stores this fall) and blended it out with a brush for a sheer finish.
The Great Gatsby era-inspired lip at Marchesa F/W ’15 started with Revlon’s Colorstay Lip Liner ($) in Raisin. Then came Revlon’s Super Lustrous Crème Lipstick ($7) in Black Cherry. A bit of Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lip Gloss ($7) in Snow Pink for shine topped it all off.
