Emma Watson has been in the public eye since she was about 10 years old. The Harry Potter star, who played Hermione Granger for a decade in the long-running franchise, famously chopped all her hair off into a pixie crop when the filming came to an end. While the actress didn't hate her look before, she merely wanted a change, saying that she did it because she "didn't get to experiment with dyeing and chopping off my hair like most teenagers" and that she "needed a drastic change and that's what the crop was all about."

But don't be fooled into believing that Watson's only hair transformation came at the end of the Harry Potter films. In fact, ever since then, she's gone through a myriad of different hair lengths and styles. Whether that's promoting a new film or on the red carpet during awards season, she's often adventurous. From slicked-back gel styles to messy boho buns, she remains totally elegant. She has so many looks in her repertoire, but we've whittled it down to our favorites. Layers

Way back in 2009, Watson was rocking this layered look that we still love today. While this was pre-pixie crop, the hairstyle definitely said she was more grown-up.

Messy French Plait

To get this pulled-back chic but dishevelled look, try loosely french-plaiting your hair and then pulling pieces out to frame your face. Use texturising hair spray to finish.

Boho Chic

This is all about enhancing your hair's natural highlights. Ask your hairstylist to add lighter pieces at the ends of your tresses to get that sun-kissed look, then pull your hair back into a loose ponytail.

The Loose Quiff

Worried that this won't suit you? Experiment at home by (gently) back-combing your hair and finishing with hair spray.
